It's not unheard of to tweak a game's performance after it's been released through patches. Mediamobsters did this with Gangland, adding a lot of content after the game was released through patches.

| Yeah, but people here seems to be hung up on guarding doors just for the sake that they can't. The least they could do is wait untill after they played the full game for a while. |

Take it from a starting software developer: games are about the hardest piece of software to write .
You really need a solid design to keep your code managable and when writing a model that seems easy, like door security, there are always lots of details and exceptions to keep in mind: what is called 'common sense' in the real world needs to be made explicit when programming the game, otherwise you'll lose much of your realism. |
Take it from a coder. thay already have the code. simple anough to make a check box ,, if thay make a SKD its gonna be the first thing i fix. and yeah ,, that i FIX . not ADD , FIX , shoulda been there from the start _________________

Well, yes I am getting hung up on this, but it seems like such a small difference. I whould like it just for the looks of 2 gards guarding my control room, but still allowing people to pass though.
Or the same with any door...

I wasn't complaining, merely writing down a quick thought, something to consider for a possible sequel

Judge not lest ye be judged. I, for one, am not a 'kid', and I would appreciate it if you kept your age-related remarks to yourself, and I will keep my unfriendly remarks to myself also.

This is true with the security doors
Level 1: Any one can pass including agents, sabatueres, veterans, and thieves (Recemened for traps and sentry guns to ambush them on thr other side and for hotel doors.)
Level 2: Any minion can pass and henchman (Recemended for all parts of base)
Level 3: Only your evil genius can go through. (Recemended maybe for your Inner Sactum)
Level 4: Just like Level 4 but military minions will gurad it. (Recemended for Inner Sactum).
I did want my minions to to guard doors where my minions can get in. What if a enemy agent is in your base? Your minions that is guarding the hallways (corridor) can kill em and go back on guarding my doors can
This may be a good idea. |
