Hi All

I have a bit more time free now, so I'll hopefully become a regular poster to the community.

Yes Gold Version [GM] is sometimes called Release Candidate [RC]. It is the final lead version that all other versions are made from. We are currently finalising the European language versions now, which is why there is a few weeks before GM and available to buy in the shops.

The reason the dates are different is that the US talks about ship dates, because the logistics of actually moving the game all over America (which is a big ol country), mean it takes a few days to get it to all the stores.

And yes we are very very happy at completing it bang on time

Thanks! Nice to be here and good to see you all fired up about the game. We've been quiet, as we've been buried in polishing this game and getting it completed on time. Not an easy task Confused

I'm in the process of converting my friends to the cause.

I've got 5 converted so far, and counting! They're all after something new and original. So what a better game to show them! Who needs this Counter Strike : Source Nonesense!

I am converting my friends to my cause since they can be good minions but they say they will only believe that EG is good once they play the demo.So I need to wait until 30th August to complete the final step of brainwashing them.

Man I wish I could get my friends into the game but to be honest, they're tv watching, ps2 playing. computer illiterate dumbasses, None of them have computers made after 1998 or internet accses. So I find myself trying to get people from strategy games like Empire Earth and Rise of Nations to check the site out. If the game sell really well the better chances of a follow up game(I hope).

Yeah, I've gotten most of my friends to get into EG, they'll defitinely be downloading the demo. One of my friends plays Rise of Nations, and enjoys nuking world wonders such as the Eiffel Tower. When I told him about EG, naturally the first thing he asked was "Can you do stuff to the Eiffel Tower in the game?" I was more than happy to tell him that not only can you shrink it, you can keep it as a decoration in your office! Shortly after that, he was more that happy that a demo was coming. One friend down, 2 more to go!!! Very Happy
