Hi all,

Good things come to those who wait, and I finally have some good news to announce on the forum. I've just come back from Devstation, where I bumped into Rebellion's CTO Chris Kingsley. He's given permission for Rebellion's purchase of the Elixir IP, including Evil Genius, to be made public. Even better news is that he's a fan of the game and is very keen on "doing" something with it.

Rebellion are a great UK company, and one of the few out there producing original games these days. I know that they also have some excellent staff, including a certain ex-Evil Designer (Mike Rosser). So the IP is in good hands and I'm very much looking forward to whatever they do with it.

Part of the credit must go to these forums and the modders too - they helped prove that there's more in EG than a single game. Community support and a strong fanbase really can make a difference. It's heartening news for all of us !

So congratulations to Rebellion, and to you guys. I wouldn't expect any big announcements for a while (a very long while even) but, one day, Max will be back... Smile
